    Depends what you are pulling.
    I am presently pulling a 32 ft Bourgault with a 225 bu. tank with a 8930 CaseIH 8930MFD.

It is quite a load,I am thinking of looking at a 4wd

We are presently pulling a Harmon 24' with a CaseIH-2294/2 wheel drive on heavy clay soil.Would like to go to a 36' machine but keep the same cart due compaction problems.Am wondering which would be better---MFD or 4WD.

My advice would depend on what all you are going to use the tractor for? Will it be strictly field work or also loader/ livestock use? If strictly field work, I would go with a 4WD. Generally speaking they are cheaper/ HP. But if you have livestock and need a loader as well or to pull a baler and stuff, then you can kill 2 birds with one stone with a MFWD.

I do not have cattle anymore but the daughter and son in law have cattle. They put up silage as well as bales and the tractor would be used on the forage harvester. Caseman what is the hp rating of a 8930?

AM wondering if you had any major problems with your 8930? Have put 5000 hrs on our 2294 with next to no repairs at all.Am still looking a larger tractor and am not to familiar with the 89 series.

I bought my 8930 with 3000 hrs. It now has 5500 hrs on it with no major problems. The 8900's series were replaced with the MX series which were
junk compared to the earlier magnums.

What should be watched for on a CaseIH- MX 200? A dealer near here has just taken one in on trade. Could be what I am looking for.
