    Bale wrapper questions

Can anyone offer their experiences and opinions on round bale wrappers for bale silage.

Don't bale too high in moisture or bale will freeze and kick the H out of your processor. around here its cheaper to buy bales from guys than spend the $6-8 on wrap and the extra handling we sold our machine

We use a Tubeline 5500. Works great, costs us about $3/bale for wrap. Inline wrappers are a lot faster and cheaper if you can count on using a bale a day or close to it which most can.

Had a tubline 5500 it worked great and the feed quality was pretty good.
The downside was cutting the plastic and twine off was a hassle especially when it is minus 30 and windy and then just trying to feed it wasn't very handy, we bought the bale unroller and that helped some. I finally sold it and went to a silage chopper.
