air seeder metering rollers

I have a wilrich air seeder and the metering rolls are loose on the shafts. (Steel shaft with 1" foam roll around it). I cleaned up the shaft and used silicone to glue the roll back on. If this doesnt last does anybody have a cheap fix (rolls are like new so I don't want to replace them). The rolls are not real loose but will turn independantly of the shaft. Thanks
