    sprayair - sprayers

Was looking at used pull type high clearance sprayers. Seems like Spray Air is the least expensive.

Is there a reason for this? Should I be staying away from them?

I know nothing about them or how they work, help me out here guys/girls.

    TIA

IMHO Spraying is all about coverage.
Sprayalls do that very well. Do not think about less than %65 rate though.
      Used Sprayalls are cheap because:
Their an oddball. They have more parts. They may not be as durable.
They have an earned perception of higher drift susceptibility. The newer ones are much better and have dual booms. They would be awesome in fungicide etc.
Around here, 20 years ago some hotshots had some major disasters, and the community generaly doesnt allow you to own one.

IMHO spraying is about making sure the chemical is put where it is supposed to go. some years could get away with half rates etc, and a finer spray will give a better initial shock along with drift. A full rate hitting the target makes sense in my opinion. Less drift. Less damage to shelterbelts yards towns people should be the goal.
