No. Don't waste your money. Buy one of those extensions for your straight cut header. Think they are made in europe somewhere under the name of Biso.

Depends how heavy the crop is. The heavier the better. To thin and the crop shakes too much and shells out. We do some but hedge our bets both ways. Depends on how late harvest is and weather conditions.
