    Dry Tubes for bins

Has anybody used "Grainairtubes" in bins
to help keep grain from spoiling? No fans
    just a perforated tube.

I put tubes in 2 bins last year to try them out. The problem is that my bins seal tight where the roof and wall meet. This prevents enogh air movement to make the tubes work best. If you have bins that breath at the eaves, the tubes will work better. I put wheat in both bins. The moisture came down about .5% to 1%.

Appreciate those comments. Is it true you have to leave the top lid fully open? If that's the case I would think that would be a pain when the weather turns wet??
