Conveyor or Grain Auger

I am looking at getting a 2080 batco Swing
converyor.
With growing pedidgre seed I thought it would be
easier to clean out than a swing auger. All of our
bins we have can be reached with a 60 foot auger.
How would the 2080 batco pto swing compare in
unload speed at harvest time to a 60 foot 10" swing
auger?

What are are thoughts on conveyors vs augers. I
can only afford to purchase a swing auger or
conveypr and can not get both. I am leaning
towards the conveyor at this time.

If you grow canola and can only afford 1 get the Auger except go to 13 inch.

oilseeds and conveyors do not mix.

If you can, go with the conveyor and save on the splits

I agree go 13 inch auger. Oil seeds and conveyor don't mix. Also in Durum for some reason its slower than HRS. Slides different. But for peas and lentils yea no damage and easy clean out.

Conveyor is great for cereals and pulses. Not for oilseeds. Seeds get under belts and rollers and the belt will move side to side then catch on something then break. We have 1585 Brandt and it is faster than a 10inch not even close to the 13inch. For seed purposes the conveyor is nice.

I have a Brandt 2095 and it is as fast or faster than a 13" auger. Durum is the slowest of all grains because of its shape. I got it for easy cleanout for seed as well. Can use it for Canola but it does leave sticky stuff on rollers for a while after using it on Canola.
