    Carbide sc****rs or mild steel?

    I'm replacing the disc sc****rs on a Bourgault 4710. Built my own to replace some worn out ones 2 years ago, worked good just looking for something quicker and easier. Looking at doing them all just looking for opinions on whether the carbide are worth it at double the money of the mild steel ones? Running in heavy clay and some sand. Thanks.
