      First of May for us.

The shearer is coming April 7, and then the girls will likely have to move to the barn unless we get a huge change in weather. We were in the minus twenties this morning. First day of spring? Not around here it isn't.

Finished the first batch of 55 ewes in late March. Starting another batch of 50 right now. Glad the grass will be here soon.

I am new to this thread - not too sure how long you have been doing sheep, but stand over that guy and make sure he is easy on them. We never tip the girls over within 8 weeks of lambing.

          Cheers

Hmmm - no edit function - so another post.

Kato - I misread your date for shearing - hope it went well
