    Ritchie brothers land rent auction

There was one here recently around leask, just wondering if anyone knows how it went, what kind of land was it? Sometimes you get land with good assessments that you wonder how they came to that number because just by looking at it it looks rough and then you will get stuff with a low assessment that looks good and produces good. Just something I have noticed.

It is on Ritchie auction results. Looks like a lump sum payment for the three years. If so most went for just under $50 per claimed cultivated acre but a couple of the parcels were in the $30 per cultivated acre range. Seems fairly reasonable for medium quality ground.

Bigger they are the harder they fall. I smell the eighties all over again. Scary.

Just farmers helping farmers to bid all of the profits out of the game.

And a little equity of course
