    Annual Payments for Pipelines

    A recent Surface Rights Board decision has made an award of an annual rent for a pipeline.

    The decision number is 2008-362 and is available on the website.

          very interesting, in this case the ag value was around 715/ac for class 3 and 650/ac for class 4, compensation was 1900/acre for both. far above the ag (or market?) value.
          Here (lacombe) compensation was around 3500/ac for land that trades for 3000/ac (actual $$ sale for bare land).

              Has there been any indication of use of this decision on other pipelines and annual payment for them?
