    Accounting Software

    I would be interested in a discussion on accounting software packages. What are people using and what their advantages and disadvanges are. I will be replacing an old DOS based program, Bottom Line Accounting, that I have been using since 1988. It is simple and basic but has limited features. I find most of the "newer" packages quite confusing to learn and wonder if I need all the fancy features.

      I currently use Settler gold and am quite happy with it.It is not confusing and they have offered very good support for the problems that I have had.I don't utilize all of the features of the program but it is nice to know that they are there if I ever decide I want to use them.Good luck.

          I also use Settler Gold and am very happy with it. I is easy to use and they upgrade and support it regularly. I have used 3 different programs in the past but will stick with Settler for the consistency.

              I have been using Settler for over 5 year and are happy with it. Even my accountant switched to it. Good program for a good price.
