    Who has time for all of this stuff?

      I didn't see a line for the most important factor - gaining control over product value or market price.

      While knowing and controlling costs is indeed an important half of the equation, the prevailing trends in agriculture bear testimony to the fact that having control of only half of the equation just gives you a longer half-life.

      Thus, rating one's proficiency as outlined may be a pleasant but impotent exercise.
