    Roundup on canola

I've been looking over my spraying notes from last year and one thing I need to find an answer to is if too much Weathermax can damage RR canola. On occasion I'll use .67 litre for dandelion and I am wondering if this can delay the crop. Any comments - can you ever hurt the crop or is it always safe.

Last year some fields got two doses of .67 litre per acre and I think it may have delayed the crop.

Don't do it. 80% of the time it will work great but if conditions aren't right you will set that crop back 2 weeks and 10-20% yield. I happened quite a bit in 2005 but only the people that missed quite a bit noticed. You're far better off doing the first pass a little early and hitting it again withing 2 weeks... just after new leaves start to grow.
