    peas on canola stubble

Yes I have grown lots of canola on pea stubble with very good results, But never the other way around. My main concern is volunteer canola. The canola is a clearfield variety.

You could use express with your burn-off. Just make sure you seed your peas at least 2 inches deep. This will get the initial flush and might have enough residual to hold back the volunters until your peas canopy. Other than that you just might have to live with the canola. You might want to talk to your Dupont rep about the express. Not sure if it is registered at the full rate for peas.
