Why such a price difference between Canada and USA

Did you ask one of the fertilizer company reps about that? Just curios what kind of BS answer they would give or if they would tell the truth that they want to make the most money possible? Maybe we should get a permanent supply of offshore fertilizer.
And yes, I know the argument that will come from some people:"we should support the local businesses ....". Guess what if they don't want to support me they are not getting my support either!

I emailed the US studies to a few head reps with two major companys in western canada. will post their response when I recieve it.
its amazing what one can find if they just look around.

Do we have to pay import duty when bringing 46-0-0 or 11-51-0 in from Montana?

I live close enough to the border and could 34 tonne loads easily.

Check out the University of Lincoln Nebraska who have a cost analysis for spring 2007 comparing ripping up winter wheat and seeding corn.
in the Comparison their using 82-0-0 and the price.

.25 lb Why would they produce a paper that is based on spring of 2007 and use .25 if we in Canada are being told that because corn is going in the ground gas will have to be .45lb

The more I dig into this the deeper the Canadian anhydrous industry looks to be gouging us.

Saskfarmer3, WOW WHAT A SURPRISE big grain companies gouging farmers, bet it is the first time in history that happened.. NOT.
Maybe we'll have a better relationship with them, if we turn the whole grain industry over to the open market. Then when its every farmer for himself, we can all get SPECIAL deals, and establish true meaningful relationships, built on respect integrity and truthiness! Oh, oh, I beginning to sound like TforC B. Guess I need a good slap upside the head. "Farmers are such funny fellows, we sell wholesale, buy retail, and pay the freight all the way to China....

Can you read were not talking grain companies in this blog were talking Fertilizer and the price difference between the USA and Canada. Providing information is whats going to kill the CWB and providing information will deal with this fertilizer problem.
