    What do you think of Agrotain

    I am wondering if anyone out there has tried Agrotain or is still using it. What do you think of it and is it worth it ? And does it work ?

      If not applied correctly by your fertilizer supplier it is the worst garbage. It will plug your augers and put a thick coating of gunk on your flighting. Worst experience with fertilizer I have ever had.

          You are right about it being critical that the Agrotain gets properly treated onto the 46-0-0! Proper mixing time is the key. The good news is that a drying agent called Sipernat 22S has been discovered to eliminate 90% of all the wet product issues you might run into. Ask your retailer to mix up the 46-0-0 and Agrotain properly for at least 10 minutes and then add the drying agent and mix for another 7 minutes or so before adding any other fertilizers. This has worked great when done properly.
