    Agro forestry??

    I am thinking about taking 10 acres out of crop production to plant trees on. They will then be harvested in about 15 to 20 years for lumber. Anyone here ever do this? What do you guys think?

          I think you are wasting your time. Seed the 10ac to grass. Let someone hay it if you cannot grow a crop on it. Take the money that it would cost to plant and take care of the trees and invest it in a RRSP or if you are a family man, RESP. Your returns will be higher with less risk.
