I’m going hit a couple points why 1 liter of glyphosate/acre is thought to be safe may just be wrong.
when looking at amino acids to increase calcium in plants.
1 ounce an acre of glycine and glutamine will increase calcium uptake by 1000 times. An OUNCE.
When Harley Smith did testing on these amino acids to come up with the above statement. He said those two amino acids stripped all the hard water scale(calcium) out of his hydroponic system.
Glyphosate was originally used to descale boilers. Acts the same as glycine.
Soil Craft, Dr Alan Lindsay has a good presentation on you tube about glyphosate in the body. Mimics glycine.
The cream he demonstrates in part 4 is just a good as the reviews.(my opinion after using acouple tubes)

Howard Vlieger has a presentation on what Glyphosate does to biology. Basically turns your good biology into food for pathogens. This is the root cause of root rot in pulses. The canary in the coal mine.
So the idea of thinking a liter an acre is ok is wrong. The farmer has to find out the hard way.
