    Soybeans up again

Just want to emphasize that NOBODY predicted this going back only a few months.
Outside day higher yesterday followed by more upside again early today.

Nice to see some positive moves in Ag.
Now just need good wheat to be priced where it should be and not off feed wheat price - lol

Rip off day in the Canola pit

Beans up 34 and a half US cents a bushel

Canola up 3.6 Canadian cents a bushel
Maybe that can be rounded up to an even nickel...

Noticed the same thing, even checked bean oil, it's up too.

FYI, publically advertised canola crush margins(I say it that way because line co. people with crushing sites have told me, margins are always higher than the ones shown using that industry formula), as of yesterday, were up $40.00/t from a month previous.

            $113.37/t or $2.57/bus

101, I was wondering this morning if the co,s. won't be hanging on the JULY longer this year because of the "carry" to NOV.? Any thoughts?

Could be, but really basis changes can fix any issues with that

                    What's driving it?
If its oil canola, shouldn't it be following closely?

the meeting that I was at yesterday put it this way. Arg bean crop is late so bean meal buyers are having to come to the US for meal, drives up price, then the funds jump in. When it tops its gonna fall hard.

The buyers believe we seeded a very large crop of Canola and it is in excellent shape. Even if half is just poking out of the ground.
The Retarded sister never ever will do as well as Soy. But it will cost way more to grow.

If you want to grow beans well , sadly ain't much cheaper.
If you want poor beans - ya they are cheaper

We have been growing beans for year and yes they are cheaper to grow. Yield isn't quite there yet but Canola has issues.
Flee beatle control is one where we gave up everything for expensive Bull shit control that doesn't work. They charge a fortune and we get shit all control. Then the issue with Northern Growers and Cleaver control what a fricking crock of shit that is.
Keep the farmer down all in the name of good trade. Do you think for one moment China gives a rats ass if its toys have lead or arsenic etc. No but good old boy scout Canada has to play by the rules.

Not Gona argue with you on most of what you said.
I think using the same seed treatments year after year is catching up to us . Stripped flea beetle is taking over and there has been limited control for too long. Bring back lindane
Canola / snow / canola , or even wht / can is not helping the situation .
Lumiderm is working here in most 3 year or longer rotations .
Beans will become a more viable crop as time goes by in most areas .
