lontrel on mustard

I was thinking of seeding some yellow mustard into an alfalfa field I sprayed out last year but my one concern is some possible alfalfa regrowth.I was wondering if you can spray lontrel on yellow mustard.If not,brown?

Not registered but it works, we used 1/2 rate with 12 gal/ac water. Wac not a problm last year.

Lontrel will damage mustard!
There has been research done on mustard tolerance to Lontrel at Lethbridge and Indian Head (published in Canadian Journal of Plant Science, 1994 74:635-41). At the lowest rate registered for canola, there was 21% yield reduction in brown mustard, 23% yield loss in oriental, and 9% in yellow mustard. Tank mixing with Muster increased the yield losses in brown and oriental mustard. Oil content was also reduced.
