    Anyone using ESN fertilizer?

I am seriously considering replacing all my 46-0-0 needs with ESN. It appears to allow me to dramatically increase my safe amounts of N with the seed. I can't double shoot, so it looks like a perfect fit.

Apart from the extra cost ($50/mt), does anyone see negatives to this?

I've heard guys speak on this product and on the agronomic side it sounds really good. I would be very interested to actually see how it does. But if it was my farm i would not be afraid to put it down on a few ΒΌ's and see how she does.

I have three years of experience using this product...Alot of people float it on after freez up until seeding so that you can actualy spend more time seeding as opposed to filling the drill. We're seening higher protein and a few extra bushells out of the wheat. The 11 cent per pound premium on it is a bit hard to swallow but I would not recomend more than 60-80 lbs of your total N coming from ESN so in a 50:50 or 3:1 mix you can bring your cost down a little.
