    eco-bran grasshopper bait

    Does anyone have experience with eco-bran? What kind of control can be expected and how long does it take to see control.

      Haven't had a lot of first hand experience but in researching the product I found out it appears quite effective in controlling invading grasshoppers as they move into a field. The insecticide contained in the bait is Sevin.

          I`ve used eco before. It works pretty good actually. It takes about 6 hours to really see any dead hoppers. It seems to work for about 5 days, depending on weather.

              What does it cost per acre to control the hoppers? I moved some electric fencing today and the hoppers are about an inch long. I was surrounded by hoppers all afternoon. I tried herding them to my neighbours but was unsuccessful...
