Max safe fertilizer rates - paired row

Hi - I want to get people's experience on safe rate
of fertilizer on canola and wheat. I have a paired
row (Morris contour) drill with 12 inch spacing.
Fertilizer placement with the paired row has the
seed row two inches to the side and 3/4 inch abov
the fertilizer. What would be a safe nitrogen rate?
Appreciate your comments on how much fertilizer
    you are putting down. Thanks

We Had the 4 inch Paired Row on the contour and we were putting down up to 120lbs of Actual N with no issues. We are now doing the same with 3 inch Atomjet Paired row. We have had good moist soils though and about half our N is liquid and Half is dry going down between the paired rows. Drier conditions may cause some burn.
