    Late spraying more

    Just read post below, Yes I know spray at flowering is BAD.

    We missed some second spray with roundup in canola due to weather and
    a breakdown. Was told I can go in after flowering and wonder if anyone
    has done late spraying after flowering.
    Field is just in last stages of flowering and wouldn't mind if I killed some
    of the very late flowers. There are lots of flooded area where canola
    is very late. I present I haven't talked to anybody that is real in the know.

      I sprayed some malt barley late, this
      year, almost heading out. All seems fine,
      though. Hope to get better conditions fer
      harvest, crop kinda poor due to heavy weed
      infestation. Ya can only due what you can
      do, I guess!!

          A couple of years ago I sprayed a field of RR canola about a week before swathing in attemp to sterilyze wild oat seed that was out of control. It seemed to work out ok. It wasn't as good as spraying at the proper time but it did help.
