did a rep come out?? did you get a lawyer involved? is it the railways fault, the grain co that loaded the rail car?? or Monsanto?? did you get any type of settlement?

As we speak, the crop insurance adjuster is out walking around in it. Our local dealer, who we've bought corn from for years, and who has always scouted and sprayed for us has contacted Monsanto. We're just waiting for a call from their local rep.
Apparently they have a policy of spraying out volunteers for you, which we will certainly take advantage of ... for as many years as it takes.
As for compensation, I guess we'll have to see what crop insurance thinks the damage is, and then take those facts to Monsanto.
What a headache....
