    Herbicide Performance

How do crops look for cleanliness in your area. Around here (north central AB) lots of wild oats in cereals. Some are same stage as crop, most have popped through recently and are green in a turning crop. Generally canola looks good.

likely second flushes, reduced rates of application or too soon before rainfall.

I sprayed my FNA Pursuit at the .75 rate with centurion at the 2.5 cases per quarter rate and had poor results with both. Resprayed the centurion at another 2.5 cases and still have wild oats.
Sprayed liberty once in the canola at the 1.8 liter rate and had kick ass control but canola looks poor and had more flushes at too late to spray stage. Sprayed Puma and Refine in the wheat, great control but seeing wild oats in the thinner drown out spots. Summerfallow is awesome clean. Bad year for killing things with chemical yet could not imagine growing any of these crops without. Next year another challenge.
