    Early Canola Seed Plot Yield Results Available.

    The first seed company canola test plot data is being posted on the Farms.com Yield Data website.

    Let us know how the canola varieties performed on your farms. Post variety, yield and location as well as any agronomic comments.

    Thanks Joe, did not know about those - good link.
    Interesting to see that the data for S'toon/N.B. shows very close to what we see in this area - 45H28 runs as good or better than Invigours as a whole. Other areas, Invigour is still slightly better.
    BTW, all farmers should tell the seed reps that have been out hounding for early canola seed sales to politely f/off until these results are in or at least you are done combining. Absolutly no need to book Canola seed until Nov. I find it extreemly anoying to be bothered during harvest when your not even done your own canola harvest to see how these varieties yeild and dockage results. Piss off until at least Nov should should be all farmers reaction to these seed reps.
