    Frost on the grass

Woke up to find -3C and a layer of frost all over the yard. Wonder how those soybeans can handle frost?

-2 and heavy fog. Will be lucky to get going today till well after noon if at all. Lots of guys 60-80% done. Still some lentils out! Lots of canola with hail damage (up to 50%) and now wind blown swaths after this past week of gale force winds. Lots of Flax and Canary will be out over winter with the current forcast. Little to NO fall crops will be seeded anywhere but the dried out zone from Rosetown to Camrose .

Yep -5° here (Kindersley area) this morning. I'm glad the frost held off for so long. We certainly needed the extra time this year. I still have Durum out but at least the majority of the crop is in the bin.
