    let western canadian farmers decide

    It's time for Larry Hill to back up his words. If he truly believes that farmers should decide the future of the CWB then we need to eliminate the right of interested parties to vote in CWB elections. Reality is that Mr. Hill only wants his friends to have the right to vote. Only common sense remark he made was that to give up something we should get something in return. World trade is all about getting your competitors to give up something while you give up nothing.

    Soon it won't matter anyway. With the rapid increase of corporate farms and venture funds/trusts in agriculture the cwb will have to deal with ceo's that won't let their shareholders lose money or they will do their own deals with end users.

    The cwb, led by hill/wells, will not develop a strategy that would put them in a stronger position to keep young farmers viable and gain support. They are to set in their ways - its called being paranoid - every idea is a bad one unless it comes from winnipeg/.

      Craig, the CWB has been confirmed many times in court to be non trade distorting. How can you get something if there is nothing to give up?

      Also given Canada's lack of getting anything for what was being given up, like crow, how do you expect Canada to get in this case? And if so, what?

          A maroon is an extra sweet cocoanut cookie. Hmmmm.
