We have been busy swathing fields turning fast should have cut all night on one half section but just two tired both operators. We had any where from 1 inch to 1/2 on Thursday really slowed harvest down. Most are just about done peas good yields but yet a few poorer. We wont start malt till tomorrow if it doesnt rain. Yields are close to last year on barley. Rain and land quality did and time it was direct seeded. Since August 5 inches all summer 2.5. Funny how it works that way.

My disappointing yellow peas were av. 42 should have been sixty. Soft wheat andrew started yielding 53 of first quarter should have been 60-70 thinking later swathing will be better, started swathing a little too green. Into swathing canola tomorrow. One hell of a cloud to the north east lightning hard/

THat's funny. Finished the Peas tonight it didn't rain near last quarter of peas. Average 44 plus. Not bad with shippy rain all summer and frost and chem kill. (Damn pursuit).
Did some wheat to make room for the bags Averaging 40 on hill tops. Sprayed early though. Rest is a week later. Will start Barley tomorrow with all three going strong. Sample done anywhere from 50 to 98.
