0.6" overnight, 0.3" Humboldt, 0.5" Ridgedale. Any storms in the south? Lots of color on radar last night.

1.25 over night, as much rain in the last 2.5 weeks as all year, up till then.

I've heard you've lost 9" of water on a cold year to evaporation out of your lake, Pars. Just how bad is it?

Don't know. I've been out of the loop, and besides, just got home from Europe.

Checking.... Apparently the evaporation this year..
a cold summer.. is expected to be about 9".

A normal year is about 17" evaporation.

A very hot and dry spring/summer the lake can lose
              over 30".

The level is said to be down 18 feet from optimal
              level.

We had 1.1" at Kenosee this early AM... so we may
              gain a little today!

1.2" at the farm... Carlyle/Arcola.. Bill

Kenosse is a dead lake,if it even deserves the term lake.

No rain overnight but a fair frost - a good layer of ice on the windshields this morning.
