    The power of transparency...

The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Thursday announced private export sales of 1.92 million metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China. Of that total, 1.8 million tons are for delivery in the 2009-10 marketing
year and 120,000 tons are for delivery in the 2008-09 marketing year.

How many wheat sales have been made to China from Canada with amounts over 1.5 MMT (and they have happened) that you or the market never knows about?

For the market's reaction on soybeans - look at what is happening today...

For western Canadian farmers - mushrooms grow better in the dark...

If you're someone (like a china) looking to buy a whole schwack of grain without moving the market price higher in the process the CWB is your best friend.

The Great Grain Robbery is not just a historical footnote, it's still going on.

There were two parts of the story, Snap.

No one bot because it was cheaper to import than what they were offering from their stockpiles.

And that happened two Wednesdays in a row - zero sales from stocks.

And boy did they buy imports this morning...

CWB system helps the purchasers of our product we supply for peanuts they feed their own and all is good. Other products when the country is short have to buy we get paid fair price for our product. CWB two thumbs down.
