    Manitoba pup trailer license class?

    Sorry wrong category, but meh.

    To tow a tri-axle pony-pup (pintle-hitch), will I need a class 1 license?

If so will I be able to take the road test using such a configuration?

    Thanks.

yes it is the wrong area, and yes you will. Unless you throw a couch and fridge in the pup and call it an RV. Then an 80 year old that has only previously driven scooters can drive it with a class 5 and maybe an air brake endorsement.

Do you think I will be able to take the road test with this setup?

I thought if you took your test with it you would also be restricted to that hitch configuration, I could be wrong, so should talk to a class 1A driving school.
A week training course is well worth it to understand the air system and doing the pre check and learning to set up the brakes. City driving is also good to do. Then they can also supply the truck for your test. In a small town city the road test will be super easy.
