Crop is coming back to life!

The poor Canola fields from Regina to Kamsack are finally starting to look good. Their blooming nice and starting to see bare patches leaving. Big leaves and taller. The cereals look really nice except for area from Melville to Canora. The heat and little rain looks like it did cut yield potential. (shorter and smaller heads, tillers dropped off) Flax is just plain unbelievable. Looks like lentil fields only taller. Just a mass of plants. Real nice Barley at Balcarres and thick cereals. Best canola still west of Edgeley.
How has Alberta come back after the rains. Were still at only 14 ml for July.

We were at Swan River on Saturday, best crops are east of the city. I thought better and more advanced than those from Gilbert Plains to Yorkton. Cereals were all fully headed, at least a week ahead of Rose Valley area. Lots of fresh sprayer tracks in all crops, saw two in canola. Crops were tall comparing to the tires.
