    SNOW AGAIN

Radar Humboldt to Kelvington shows precip.
2" snow in the area, 4/10" in rain gauge! Anyone else get so lucky? No frost but it's still snowing? Some areas so dry seeds won't germinate and we can't even seed because it's snowing and mud May 22. Soil temp 5C yesterday.

Snowed north east of Yorkton this morning. Some reports of early seeded canola frozen. Some early seeded peas are starting to turn to mush. Now they are predicting a cold summer. I stated in an earlier post that we will have an early frost this year come August, and still am sticking with that. Things are shaping up to be a poor year.

Hail and rain interrupted seeding , but managed to finish last of the Canola. More thunderstorms around Winnipeg. About 30-40 % seeded for most. We are done. Good luck to all!
