    Seeding progress?

Were at just over 40% and counting. Had a slow day yesterday with the fog and mist and damn cold north wind. Felt like Nov 1 not may 13.
Durum, Peas, and 1/4 HRS are in the ground now seeding Canola and Barley.

10 percent would be generous, nothing moving around the peg and not likely till Monday.

We are about half done, but snowing heavy now ground is turning white. Calling for -7 tonight. Canola is up north west of here Vawn, Meota area. Our peas are sprouted but not up - Kind of hopeing it snows enough to insulate then tonight. Alot of early seeded crops may be in deep trouble in this area. Mid next week looks just as cold and yes that will be the 20th.

35 percent done. Nothing up yet as just started on Sat. Tried planting this morning but after 100 acres started to snow but nothing much and freezing problems on the Seedmaster knives so shutting down for the day.

In my neighbourhood (in Southern Alberta) pretty well everything seeded except edible beans and a few hybrid seed canola fields. Canola and sugar beets have all been irrigated, or are bieng irrigated, for germination. Some sprinklers going on forage crops. It's been cooler than normal here but only a few scattered showers and flurries since the snow melted in March.

I thought it was said that Seedmaster would give you a two day headstart to sowing. What happened? Did they forget to install individual knife heaters!!! (lol)
