Started on north Side of Valley Seeding.

We finally got into the field today. Started peas with one drill. Durum will start tomorrow. Its wet really wet and Ground is cold. Hell a big slough by us still has Ice. Lake lost its Ice today with wind. Calendar says May but mother nature isn't quite their yet.
Looks like rain Thursday and Friday this week.
One larger farmer started yesterday. and the Red Army will be seeding on Monday. They have three big rigs this year for same acreage as us.

We started seeding yesterday and would not object to a good soaker at any time(sooner than later prefered).

Nice to hear your getting stuck of frost boils Sask. Now I don't feel so bad still doing maintenance. Will have to phone a neighbour tonight to see how well things are working here. You did get hit with some moisture this spring seems more than us. I hope to start Wed.

Went back home early just way to much pulling going on today. The Second unit did start up at 4:00. But the Anhydrous trucker said only one other guy today for gas. Lots of peas going in I think. We dropped 300 acres of peas from our rotation.
