Just off phone with a buddy of mine from Oklahoma and he said he sold the last of his HRW wheat and his check read $6.99 Canadian per bushel in his pocket freight off.
And oh yea it must be a spot market. YEA its his bin bottoms and that's what their paying now.

Going to start moveing some wheat this week. Still have half on my farm while my other crops been bin bottoms awhile ago. The other crops were quite profitable I may add.

Closer to the border, in Berthold North Dakota, the closing price on Friday was $7.98 Canadian.

Not only that but I bet his yeilds are 20 to 30% higher on top of it. We always forget how bad our varieties are here. Colony down in Washington tried some superb on irrigaton. Never again, boy what a mistake they said.
