How do you ban someone from a internet site? Pretty much have to limit any new members, would you not?

i hope they didnt ban him...censorship is a fine line...democracy means taking the chaff (and i only mean in attitude..lol) with the wheat...he is colourful...and a pretty smart guy for all his stubbornness...

the internet should be without boundaries or countries...it was designed as a free thinking bulletin board...and morphed into one of the greatest information mediums the world will ever know...

personally...i tend to think that when you go onto a chat room or a forum such as agriville...you must understand you run the risk of hearing or reading things that might not be socially acceptible...it is a high price but a price we must be willing to pay...it is the ONLY...and i mean ONLY non censured method that the general populace has to communicate...unfortunately newspapers, television and radio are all controlled...obviously there is a place for decorum...but banishment should be an absolute last option...

      LMAO @ vagabonddreamer...what is this ...a soap box i am tripping on??? why yes...it is...IVORY soap...99 and 44/100 percent pure...just ask marylyn chambers...lmao...vs

Or do I mean PILLYPILSNER (correct me if I am wrong, if I am wrong I will buy you a beer in edmonton on friday)
I havent read anything from cottom LATELY to give offense.
If he does get banned it would encourage him to stop and rethink his wording (as did the original Saskfarmer and others who may have changed their I.D.'s more)
Cotten is sometimes a prick. Sometimes common sense. Sometimes amazing.
          Overall he is worth reading.
If you dont agree dont read.

I am in Edmonton for the farm show next thursday (and novice hockey for the next 3 days). Anybody going to be around? Even you Burbert if we can just arm wrestle and politely call each other names in front of our kids?

I don't like censorship either. But for me, it's the idea that counts. It's the theory that counts, although I do prefer it presented courteously.

The obnoxious can grate, I agree, but the thin-skinned whiners annoy me the most of all. Pars

i believe i read the post last night...he referred to a female member who posted in and around christmas time...she turned out to be starting a bio-fuel plant or something...this infuriated many people...and i think this is where the confusion came in...cotton referred to her as a "*****"...but i think he was speaking in the political sense...ie..a lobbyist...i dont think he was speaking as to her personal employment background...

maybe CP could go back and re-read and see if that makes sense to him??? vs

pil, my friend, April Gold up $73.40 at one point this morning on the CBOT. Crude up, grains up, US$ tanking against all currencies, just as cotton predicted.
