Does one think the industry is not going to get the supply they need?

2700 for 09 and 2100 in 08, rotation was a little heavy on oats and wheat last year, feel like the odd man out.

how independent is canola price from soybeans?
from the numbers here, you sure can't see canola acres going up
a lot of farmers stick to their rotation, they will have normal acres in. the rest that maxed out canola last year will have to back off.

Except for the beans maybe canola is the sleeper

We need more volume on this site to come to that conclusion but yes it looks like most guys will cut back 15 to 22% because of rotation. To me I dont know one guy who is increasing acres. But we do know one thing Soyabeans are going to be wall to wall in USA. Great keep submitting. Oh Larry maybe that's a good question on Fertilizer buddy?

My canola acreage will double in 09, bought some new land that has never seen canola. Not saying acres cuz most of you have more canola than my whole farm acres!!! Needless to say, my piddly amount will not flood the market.

                      08 650 acres
                      09 930 acres

We have been pushing pulse rotations hard the past couple of years and Cereals are sucking.
