    Questions from a retard

Because the screen was widened out by he who must not be named I will start a new thread.

So then I guess some answer to the following questions are. Did I hear you correctly?

Be careful to try and simplify the market. There is a lot going on in it.

How is a supplier of 15 to 20% (Canada) of a market get compared to a supplier of 75% (OPEC) of a market?

Even at as much of the market that Opec supplies they do not contol the buyer. Therefore they have similar issues as Canada around serving their buyer.

How does this 15 to 20% supplier command some one who has choices?

They don’t. They work to understand the need and try to serve it.

“They work to understand the need and try to serve it.”

If there are the proper incentives to do so, yes. (And they aren’t mentally challenged) ;-)

Lifer, I can tell by the phrase, "he-who-must-not-be-named", Harry Potter is read in your house. Wonder who enjoys it more, the 40-and-up-crowd or the kids?

I know Tom, this isn't a marketing post, but prices are too good. In my 20-some years in doing this work, I can always tell when prices are good - producers stop phoning.

I have enjoyed reading the first of the series to my younger boy. My kids have enjoyed the series but haven't heard anything from them on the upcoming book.

Of which I see an interesting marketing lesson. A number of the larger bookstores as I understand it are planning to use the book as a loss leader. This brings up a few questions one of which is.

Has the Canadian Government used their Wheat Board to sell Wheat grown by western canadian farmers as a loss leader?
