Throwback to 2020 when Canola was about to break out and the Golden Age of Agriculture was beginning.

The red line marks the level where the Townies introduce arranged marriages to Saskatchewan farmers.


Canola was 515 and the red line is at 538.

What is feed canola , wheat and durum worth? If you can move it. And even worse if it is tough grain because while graincos can't justify dryers , farmers apparently can.

We have an industry that downloads costs to the farmer and representatives that treat it like a badge of honour.

Maybe now we can get the $53 canola that Martin Armstrong predicted and a very valuable past poster here brought up ~2022.

Neighbor stopped by the other day and offered his daughter to my son, with a dowry of two quarters of land and a house. Perhaps we are already above the red line?

Not sure if he has told the duaghter about this scheme yet, or if my son approves, but I graciously accepted, sight unseen. Kind of like buying at an online auction because the price is too good to pass up. Those deals never go wrong.

I have considered. And asked and requested and begged and pleaded.

The answer seems to be that if I want any more offspring it will have to be with someone else. And I believe the financial implications of that might outweigh the benefits of dowries 20 years later
