    CWSW basis.

Been watching the markets the last couple days and was just going to pull the trigger on a sale of some soft wheat and what does the CWB do, they slap on a minus 30 cent per bushel basis. What is with that?

Does this have anything to do with the fact Cargill secured all their malt contracts yesterday morning? all 5000 acres of them in production contracts most likely unpriced yet because by the time one can trade the CWB already changed the basis before afternoon pricing can occure.

Ok now that the futures price went down can someone from the CWB fix the basis that screwed up the price the farmer gets?
Like do they think that we are supposed to deliver number one grain or malt wheat at below feed prices?

Ok maybe I have this figured out. Someone from Alberta filled up the contracts because they get paid better than Sask. farmers for grain delivered to Sask.
