The top headline news this week was Turkey looking to organize another grain corridor for Black Sea exports, Putin initially rejecting the thought than saying it is possible and by the end of the week a U.S. envoy is travelling to Russia to convince Putin to stop the war.

U.S. soybean crop conditions have fallen more than expected as a hot/dry/and finish could weigh on final yields. Will modernization USDA help + Sept. 24 Xi/Trump meeting + commodities outperforming stocks + CFTC.

I think feed grain prices have peaked in western Canada , prices for top quality “dry” grains obviously will remain strong and should go higher as they will be near non existent from here forward

About 80 percent of the western Canadian wheat / crop is still in field , and probably at least 60% of the barley , quality is going to be a real issue .
That is a 99 percent probability
Agree with S/F , more acres are being lost to hail / too wet than are being harvested at this point or in the next 14 days .

Elevators are already calling daily looking for wheat and barley , “specials” being offered
They are empty , trains are coming and there will be literally no harvest for the next 10 days in most areas

15.8 protein no fusarium. Some trying desicated canola. Not ready.

We have dry , 54 lb, excellent quality barley off and locked in bin , 3 line companies calling for it .
we are in the driver seat on that stuff . Will get what we want come Monday , picked up FOB farm
Good lentils in bin
Hauled in a batch of hrsw off combine on one contract
65 lb, variable pro depending on field we did
Lots of ergot in the earlier wheat here , later wheat none. Zero fusarium so far , all was sprayed
