Was told wheat prices fell off at the close from P&H yesterday.
wheat prices continue to struggle to gain any meaningful upward momentum.
Sept / October pricing locally hit a wall at $8.25 to $8.30 .
way too many guys have targets in at those levels for the price to move above that
The grain merchants have done a good job convincing farmers that’s the best they will get

I think we will have to be patient this year marketing our wheat. We’re not planning to market any of our wheat until at least February, hopefully by then we will start to see some better future and basis numbers. Interesting enough Kansas wheat is holding a 60 cent premium over Minny wheat, doesn’t happen very often.
