What’s going on with fuel pricing. Was quoted 1.69 for farm diesel plus Gst today. Super b load volume. Petro Can across from Flaman had pump gas at 1.42, I think we are being had.

$2/l diesel is the current avg Sask pump price, Flying J truckstop 215.9/L.

How come you can still jump on a plane and fly any where for the same price as 2 years ago ?

$2.00/L for dyed here, $2.11 with the GST, as of yesterday.
I would definitely be a buyer at 1.69.
With my local pricing I am not buying large volumes at this time. Too volatile, but no end in sight I don’t think.

The SPR has helped bouy the world oil supply, but at current draw the SPR will be effectively emptied in 6-8 weeks. Will there be a price spike, perhaps shortages, a magic resolution? Time will tell.

The fuel situation is out of hand.
Ordered dyed diesel July 9th, not a Super B price discount because I don't have the capacity but got a >14K liter discount.
Price was $1.299. Fuel guy shot me a text on Wednseday.... $1.824, not as much as some of the prices in this thread but I still think its too much. We made sure everything was full, all the equipment and even the slip tank.

I suppose there was an opportunity to profit from the volatility in the market. But we didn't.
