Wheat Futures Skyrocket, a Repeat of 2022?

Ukraine in the month of July has attacked 147 Russian vessels and put both Ukraine/Russian grain exports at risk!

U.S. weather looks hot and drier to end the month of July, and the high-pressure ridge is expected to return in the eastern corn belt for the 1st half of August, just in time for reproductive pod filling stage in soybeans.

Tit for tat escalation over the Strait of Hormuz has crude back above $80.

Despite a correction in live and feeder cattle, the long-term channel bull remains intact.

China/Unknown has purchased 4.4 mmt of U.S. soybeans.

    Chip stock correction has bottomed.

We sold the bit of wheat we had left , very few have any
but the market believes there was lots to sell

very gun shy here after loosing 50% of our wheat a week before harvest last year
Atmosphere too active for us to be pre selling but also I don’t see much downside in the foreseeable future.
Sit and wait till we get to harvest.
May be not the best plan but that’s the way she goes sometimes.
