We've gone from one extreme to the other.

Up to five and a half inches since the end of seeding. Definitely solved the problem of too dry to germinate anything shallow seeded or dried out from field work. There were lots of bald patches and strips waiting for moisture. Now everyday the standing water and yellow patches and sprayer ruts grow.

Far from being a catastrophe. Looking more like a normal June compared to the last number of years.

Cattle guys were getting very worried, but hay is really taking off now, and pastures are coming back to life.

After our earliest start and finish to seeding, things are no further along then normal Between the dry and now cold.

$140 must be a complete, likely a good reason?
Reliability, cost, and warranty has made a lot of options obsolete, I get it.
I know too well how this feels, just curious the hows and whys.

I'm grateful for the rain.
But also that we can get going with the sprayer even tho it's far from ideal.
Saving money on seed treatment, fail.
Spending money on pumping sloughs, fail.

3580 hours yes complete drop in hole in block the tractor is bought and paid for we owned since new was a factory order. Funny thing a lot are crashing in the 4000 to 7000 hr range for some reason. Plus I like the tractor it’s tight and looks like new.

Spraying caught up but still beans to roll waiting till there higher didn't dare roll them with all this wind on our sandy soil. There's hay ready to cut but daily showers now putting the brakes on that. wheat canola rotation. wheat stubble too wet to seed, too wet to do anything on just yet. canola volunteers coming from 2 years ago. coming up as even as any of the broadcast and harrowed canola around here.
so thinking of spraying with liberty rather than round up burn off and seeing what would happen with crop.
would need to get fert on somehow. does anyone have any experience with this? what am I missing? no flea beetle damage yet all.
even a half crop would be better than nothing at this point and would use up some excess water.

Do you have streamjet tips? I always wondered about streaming roundup to thin a volunteer crop.
