N of Rose Valley, Tisdale, Melfort, all late seeded, and on some sweet sloped land. Surprised to see so much canola on canola?

Chasing $$ or too late for wheat? N of Naicam lots of water, acres missed due to WET WET.

Lots are going with 2/3 canola and 1/3 wheat. 1/2 is liberty on RR.

The math in farming is changing. I got A and L soil health test soil sample done. 4 ppm N in the standard test,they state the biology will make 84-102 pounds of N in a normal growing climate
2 zones are 4 on their scale which is ideal soil microbial activity and one zone is 5 which is unusually high
The scale is 1 to 15 so there is lots of room for improvement

high N on a standard soil test is a sign of poor soil function.
c:n ration shows you where the N is supposed to go.

Yes, longest day of the year coming up and forecast highs barely above mid teens. Ground is very soggy.

Its been a lot of years since I have seen the continuous wind during the spraying season. Very early days here and shut down by mid morning at best. It never got below 30 kph until way after dark last night.
